console lid won't close - help

great, i go order an 07 and now my 04 adren is paying me back !

the lid on the floor console will not close all the way. it appears that on the drivers side, the latch in the console that secures it is missing ( not the " hook " on the lid ).

i looked quick, and it appears that there is no replacement. do i have to get a new console or am i just missing something that can be replaced ?

any help will be appreciated

If it won't close, did you check if the latching mechanism on the console body got pushed in? You'll need a screwdriver to pry it back up.



If it was missing, the lid should close (because there is now nothing in the little pocket), but not be secure.

Yeah, I have done that a few times with mine. A pen works perfectly to pry the latch back up. That should be it. Good luck

gary.....adam and tommy are right the latch just got pushed down it should pry right back up.

Yea . . my dog broke mine today . .guess it means its time to upgrade to the high series . .
