Hey guys and gals, I have a bit of a problem on my hands here. I drove the trac home about a week ago and parked it only to be greeted with white smoke out of the engine bay. Seeing as it was dark I couldn't see where it was leaking from but it sounded as though it was leaking out the drivers side rear of the block and hitting the exhaust manifold or something hot. The next morning I come out to find a nice wet mark under the drivers side rear of the motor. The rad is full, the overflow tank is empty. So from these observations I concluded that the block has no coolant in it. Any ideas on how to get coolant back into the block without cooking a head gasket so i can find the real source of the leak. Also any ideas what I might have done? frost plug? Head gasket? Just a hose?

Thanks In Advance

igot the same problem but in da right front of the block. i started noticeing a coolant smell while driving so i checked from hoses to freezeplug and everything in betwen, and came to conclusion that the head gasket is blown but is really hard to tell i had to spend quite ot time w/ the truck running and my self on da fender well trying to find out. now the question is should i use the stuff that its sold at the parts store or take it a part.
