I have a 2002 Sport Trac and trying to compile a Christmas list for the family. I want to get new door speakers, I originally wanted a sub but with the room restrictions (yes I know I can buy a box that fits) I've decided to try and find door speakers that put out the most bass for the rear speakers, and in the front I want a good component combo speaker. Any ideas for those? Also, one of my idiot friends dropped his cigarette on my seat and burnt a little hole in my cloth seats. Is there anything I can do to I guess prevent the hole from getting bigger? Thanks in advance.

something you can do to prevent the hole in your seat from getting any bigger or getting more holes is by not smoking in your trac.

I installed MTX 3 ways front and back, i am happy with them...

As far as the seat goes, IF you don't just put seat covers on there, you can have an auto upholstery place repair the seat, that can be costly...

You could try to just get the bottom seat cover from the dealer...

Jon...I have Pioneer TS D801P speakers in all 4 doors and Pioneer PRS-D4000F amp under the back seat. I'm very happy with the full range sound I get without too much expense (not exactly free, but didn't break the bank either). I'm really happy with the separation of highs and lows.

as far as the seats...there really isn;t much you can do as far as I know. I suggest looking for some seat covers that might personalize the seats. Good luck with everything.

Chet what did you have before the upgrade? The amp description looks good since it Pioneer encourages use with OEM system. I just wonder how much better it will get since I have the factory 500 watt sysytem? Thanks.
