Thanks for suggestions so far, but the IAC is basically new. I am still hopeful that someone else has had this exact problem and knows a solution. The web page I linked to, though a more generaic car repair site, is the exact scenario I am experiencing. The vapor cannister purge valve is not very expensive (less the $50 on rockouto for a Ford one) so I am almost willing to order one and try it. And again, it runs fine after I get it started, and this problem only occurs after a fill-up. No other time. Even last night when this occurred again I had probelms getting it started after a fill-up, then it ran rough for 30 seconds or so, then ran perfect all the way home, including 80mph on interstate and at least 2 stops where I had to turn engine off and restart. And today it has now been started 4 different times by me and/or my wife and no issues. This scenario has been the case every time this hard start after fill-up has occured. And I do not find any hoses underneath dealing with the evap system loose or disconnected. Vent hose that runs up to the fender well is also good, no blockages. This is also a purley on the road vehicle, no off-roading at all.
