Creaking sound

Has anyone else had a creaking or plastic cracking sound from the radio bezel? I upgraded my shocks and with the stiffer ride i now get creaking sounds from the radio bezel. I can push on it and it makes the noise, also if i hold it it will stop. Anyone else have any suggestions on how to fix this? It almost sounds like when your twisting an ice tray to get the ice to pop out.

loosen the bottom 2 mounting screws, push it tight to the dash and tighten.. IF not you may be able to use some felt as a cushion..

That's the only noise that I have in my 2001 and it's driving me nuts. I'll try this tomorrow.

Already tried that, i bought some sticky weather stripping, im gonna try padding it a bit. Thankx though.

If you have an aftermarket radio, you might want to brace it in the back or place a piece of wood or cushion underneath the radio. This noise is caused by the flexing of the plastic with the weight of the radio.
