Custom badging. Prep question...

I am thinking of applying some badges that have double-sided tape to the side of the ST. How should I prep the area first? Obviously clean and dry. Should there be wax or no? And if not, how do you get wax off? Or doesn't it matter. thanks!!!

I have always used alcohol, to cleen the area....

no wax!!!... use dish soap... or a clay bar... or "goof off"... I have used my clay bar for my dallas cowboys badge and its not goin anywhere

Alcohol will strip away the wax and dirt and leave an ideal surface for your emblems.

to REALLY make sure that they dont come off....

use some Adhesive Promoter - 3M has some. Puts a clear film on the surface where you are attaching - if you use that you will never have a problem
