In this pic you can see what it looks like. It works pretty well, however the automatic climate control leaves something to be desired. Here on the humid east coast, once the temp you have it set at has been reached, it mixes in warm air from outside, and you get a rush of humidity that comes in. This is remedied by putting the A/C on recirculate. The air stays cooler and no huumidity!

Those buttons control the 4 line message center in the gauge cluster. Info cycles through Trip 1 miles, trip 2 miles, Fuel used, mileage, miles until empty, current fuel economy and trip timer. The setup button will tell you the engine oil life remaining, let you set the headlamp time it reamins on after you shut off the ST, set wheather or not the doors lock automatically at a certain speed, unlock all the doors when drivers door is opened, set the compass zone. I think that is all. The reset button will let you reset the trip miles/time/mileage/gallons used, as well as reset the oil life percentage. Not sure if the oil life is based off of mileage or if there is an actual sensor monitoring the oil condition...

smiles, I bet with all those new buttons and toys its hard to get y'all in bed at night. lol _ Ron

A1cntrler...

Cool! Star Trek is HERE!

By the way ... G.M. Oil Life Monitoring Systems use an algiorythym of ;

Average vehicle speed, average engine R.P.M.'s, average engine temperature, and throttle

position sensor inputs to determine, based on a pre-set program, when to change the

oil, and I would imagine this should be the same for Ford and Dialmer-Chrysler vehicles

as well. ;)
