2003 Sport-Trac 115,000 - Upper ball joints shot and at least two lower body mounts (under the front edge of the door) are dust. I haven't eyeballed the upper as yet. Called the 800 number and registered my outrage with Ford CS. Thank You to whoever made that recommendation. This issue has not elevated to corporate's attention, so no Service bulletin, etc. I would encourage everyone with a problem to take 10 minutes and call. You never know, it just might help us all. Local ford garage just quoted me $1597.79 to R&R all six. The service advisor didn't have a clue as to what I was talking about. I'm on the horn with another SA that has been around and am waiting on a revised estimate to just have the two done. I might get lucky and only need the bottom half. Something tells me that regardless, they will have to loosen all of them and the labor charge will be through the roof!
