I've been on this site for just over a year now and I am appreciative of the help I've gotten regarding my ST.



Lately, it has become frustrating to read about politics and other crap that seems to get many of "us" riled up.



Is there ANYWAY we can get back to Sport Trac discussions and stop with the politics, in fighting, and ganging up on others?



Like BigAL said.. there are other sites you can vent those things on.



I'm finding this site less and less enjoyable.

Admin went throught the trouble of providing a "political" category for a reason. Let those who want to scrap and bicker do it in their own category. If you don't like it (like me) then stay out and don't read. I have do admit though, it is entertaining in a Jerry Springer-ish sort of way:lol:



We'll never be able to stop people from saying what they like or control what sort of people join the site so we'll just have to compromise. So please people, label your threads correctly. We STaddicts appreciate it.
 
Like it or not, the ability to have non-Sport Trac discussions is what makes this site unique and what has kept me here for almost 7 years and what keeps some people here that have already sold their ST's and moved on to something else. I'll admit sometimes people go overboard on some things but you just have to learn to ignore them. Doesn't keep you from getting helpful info about your ST.
 
I have to admit, I love talking about and reading about the Sport Trac, but I think it would get boring if that's all we talked about. I enjoy the other subjects we discuss and for the most part, they are discussed in an intelligent and friendly manner.



We have a smart and congenial group of folks who can discuss just about anything thrown at them. And I, for one, really appreciate them!



You can find worse places to spend time, but there's not many that's better! :wub:

 
Well said Jerry. I feel the same. I have gotten alot of entertainment over the last few months. I have to say, I love it when Franky boy posts. He'll post only a couple of times to get things going then disappear. Frank, what's up with that? Don't leave us hanging!!!!:D;)
 
I'll remind you that an Indictment is not proof of wrong doing, guilt, etc. In our law system, everyone is presumed innocent until proven guilty.



Guarentee that if this goes to trial, it will be dismissed.



So, someone got indicted for something.... what's new. Report back if and when they are convicted....

actually now days, your are guilty unless proven innocent and even then it's a 50/50 shot.and the truth is Justice is Blind :)



I know it's hard to, but just ignore what posts you want to read and don't sweat the small stuff. However old it is getting, (and I am right there in agreement wih you,) it makes for a unique site that we can discuss more than just one topic. ;)

That's true in the "Court of Public Opinion", i.e. the ratings-driven, sensationalized media. But R Shek was referring to the law.



Sadly, our society seems to put much more stock in the Court of Public Opinion nowadays than in the rule of law, which was one of the principles on which this country was founded.:angry:
