do I have the mounting depth to fit these?

I was thinking of getting a box made that would fit these behind my back seat. Somthing that spreads from one side all the way to the other to give adequite airspace and then mount the amp in the middle. Would something like this work with these subs? They only require 4-11/16" for moutning depth.

You would have to remove the storage compartment completely.



Yes they would fit, but those have a pretty big excusion though so it might hit the back of the seats when turned up loud.



I don't think you could mount them on opposite sides with the amp in the middle though because on the passanger side the rear window motor takes up too much room. There should be adaquate airspace for them though.

hmmmm.... maybe have them side by side on the drivers side and still find somewhere to mount the amp....

When I had two 8's in my ST I had them centered with an amp on each side.
