I've had State Farm for 13 years now and will NEVER go back to Progressive.:fire:

When I had my 1969 Camaro I had Progressive, I signed up over the phone and never got my contract mailed to me so a couple months later when I was in an accident they said I didn't get full coverage and since I had no physical proof (paper contract) they wouldn't pay to repair my Camaro. I paid full coverage prices from what three other Ins. Companies told me but couldn't do anything angainst Progressive so my camaro sat wrecked for four years until I gave it to my cousin's when I moved to Oregon.

Nope, don't want my money going to Soros Jr's political agenda.

Also, I don't understand the supposed allure of their mascot, Flo.

I have heard way too many horror stories about Progressive Auto Insurance to ever consider them for any kind of insurance.

I had State Farm for over 30 years, but about 5 years ago I switched to GEICO. My State Farm agent was a jerk who didn't attempt to save me any money. My Brother-In-Law was a State Farm agent in Louisiana, and he used to give me tips to save money and told me how bad my agent was. When I switched to GEICO about 5 years my insurance rates were nearly cut in half, and I had better coverage (higher limits and lower deductables) I just switched my home owners insurance over to GEICO which is only about $10 a year cheaper than State Farm's rate, but It dropped my GEICO car insuranc another $80 a year.

I still have a life insurance policy with State Farm, but it's too late to try to change it. I also have a Life Insurance policy with Mutual of Omaha, which is cheaper than State Farm, so I just hang on to both.

Had Allstate for years, and they kept raising our rates, year after year, though we didn't have accidents, claims, tickets, nada. Finally got fed-up and went to Geico for big savings. Switched back after a year when some PA insurance regulations changed (supposedly) and Allstate was competitive, again, but that only lasted a year or so, then we tried to insure our 16yo driver (two years ago). We switched to Geico, again, to save boatloads. Been there since.

My agent keeps putting my jetski on Progressive but it's only $100 a year. My car insurance is with another company.

We have American Family for our vehicle and home owners insurance. We have Progressive for the motorcycles.

Never had an issue with Progressive, even when I had a couple of claims. Too many horror stories with Allstate (you are not in good hands and never were). Nationwide Insurance screwed my Dad over because he "got old".

I had Geico for a year or two, but never had a claim with them, but they were always happy to take my money.

We have had numerous claims with American Family and they have been more than fair and very transparent in their claims service. Claims were, storm damage on the house, at fault accident involving 3 seperate vehicles with almost $30,000 in damages, and an auto comprehensive claim when I had a car smashed by a falling tree.

All were paid quickly and fairly.

Progressive is the cheapest I can get for the Motorcycles even beating Geico by 50%.

I very happy with USAA. We just sent in a $4000 diminished value claim to Progressive for our 2010 Escape. Our appraiser said good luck with them... fingers crossed for something.

I hae had USAA for 24yrs. Cant complain. We lost a '01 Escape in '07 houston flood. It had 50kmiles on it. They gave us top dealer retail $$.:supercool: I was expecting loan amount or trade.

allstate 25plus years. home (ny), auto, life

never a problem with service and the best rates by far.

fla home is thru univ prop and cas. same there.

I had allstate for 10 years for everything - prices were great, but when i had to file a claim it was never easy. for a homeowners claim which should have been simple - i ended up having to get a public adjuster to get anything.

just switched to travelers, they cover both cars, home, and two rental homes. well worth it - just had a claim on the ST and they covered everything, plus more with NO problems. love travellers - plus its cheap.

I actually just DROPPED progressive.. I had them for about 18 years.. A new teen driver forced me to shop around.. I went with The Hartford. For $2000 LESS a year, and adding an umbrella policy I get about FIVE times the amount of coverage for the cars and house... Bye Bye 'Flo'

Have state farm for the cars. live next door to my agent. I like it.

I have progressive for the boat and jetski. Simply because they offered the best policy for the price. I hate that the owner is a bad dude, but there will always be bad dudes so i guess i'll stick with it
