dodged the storm

So the Big Island of Hawai'i missed the winds from TS Flossie. Those of us on the Hilo side will get plenty rain in a couple of hours. Maybe some lightning. A friend about 5 miles away, said that he had heavy rain last night. It is classified as a tropical storm, so hurricane insurance won't apply. A good time to praise the Lord. Pray for Maui.

Rain is not anything new to Hilo.... about 300" a year. Every time I was there it was raining.:cry:



Now the Kona side of the island is like a desert....only about 30" per year, and they could probably use the rain. :grin:
