I was wondering: Is this a good service and how does Auctiva make their money?

Is it free to the seller and buyer?

I'm looking for the"catch"! Is there one?

Thanks!

Auctiva gives you a listing designer (eBay $0.10), free scheduled listing (eBay $0.10), three free pictures (eBay $0.30), Supersize pictures (eBay $0.75). Total saved $1.25.

I'm can't see how they make their money. Probably after you sign up for it, you find out how they do!

;)

What are you trying to sell?

My wife sells on ebay. She makes enough money to support the both of us. My money goes into the bank.

Odds and ends, right now.

I might get into something on a more regular basis, but I don't know what that would be.

Mookie,

Remember, there are people that surf ebay because they are too proud to shop at the dollar store, but are willing to pay 5 bucks for something we buy for a buck at the dollar store.

I am a seasoned seller on Ebay. I suggest simply doing it yourself. That way, there is one less hand getting a share of your sales and you can better control your costs.

Of course, if you are really lazy or don't have the time, you might try and find one of the local stores that do all of the Ebay work for you...for a percentage of the sale.

I'm now using Ebay's new Turbolister. It is free to download. The listings cost the normal price, but you can create items, type the descriptions, add the pictures and all anytime, even while you are offline and then you can upload many auctions at once if you like. Sales have been pretty good lately, mostly old books and magazines, but I will try anything if it looks like a decent money maker.

Adam,

Please keep it quiet. We have 4 DVD burners making DVD's one after another. If too many people find out about it, we will not be able to keep up with demand.

Being a person with recent Europeon herritage, they really take to me. ;):D

Turbo Lister is okay. Someone needs to make a util to edit descriptions better. One of my decal designs takes 16 listings to cover all the Ford vehicles in just one color combo of a decal. I'd like to be able to add a color change and pic change in a bulk method. Current way is too time consuming.

BTW, I tried something new on eBay that is working really well. I only list in the popular categories. Mustang, Explorer, F-150. The rest of the listings go in the eBay store. All the listings have a link to the eBay store. I'm selling more items this way without having to list so many items as Fixed Price.

Also, Amazon listings are free they just take 12% of the sale when it sells.
