I just got a T-MAXX 3.3 nitro to have something to play with in my spair time. I was just woundering if anyone else here has any radio controled cars or trucks? (or plains)

hahaha... hey HO... just have to poke fun a little bit... but its Planes and Spare not plains and spair.

Not back to being on topic, I used to run a r/c helicopter, the Thunder Tiger Rapter V2.... until it got caught in a wind storm and smashed into about 30 pieces.... It was a riot at the time though

I have always wanted to run a Nitro RC car, I just couldn't justify the cost to own one.

I had a 4wd nitro truck, 4WD , 2 speed tranny, Was loads of fun, Something like 65 plus MPH....

Too fast for local areas... You need a good place to play with those though... Mine met its death on the Mas TPK... jumped the guard rail of a park and ride right on to the highway...

CRUSH!!!!!!!

I have a T Maxx 2.5 and an rc10gt with a 2.5 TRX motor. I've had two other Tmaxxes, including a full aluminum .21 conversion truck. The stock T maxxes (Such as yours) are the most durable and relaible. You may want to ditch the glow plug warmer from the auto start kit and get yourself a regular glow plug starter. It'll make life much easier, unless they've improved on their design!

So far in my stable I have a Tornado XP, Ofna Ultra LX and a Jato 3.3. I find it that it helps me relax when I run my cars/buggies, unless I crash them LOL They're a lot of fun, except when it comes to tuning, that at times could be a pain!! Have a Revo 3.3 on the way as well.

I have two RC Helicopters both electric. On is a small indoor Helo called the Blade CX. The other is an outdoor Helo called the T-Rex 450XL SE.

I am not quite good enough to fly the T-Rex upside down yet but I am getting better. The CX is good for tormenting the cats. I have some pictures somewhere that I can post.

If people are hooked on thier ST's watch out for Nitro R/C Cars ;)

Ive probably spent over 2x what I paid for my Revo fixing it... Not because its delicate, but its my first one and I USED to bash it up pretty good... now that I respect it, it hasnt broke down yet... other than standard maintenance issues...

Hella fun, Id suggest everyone to get one, just be sure to have more money on top of what you spend cause there are a LOT of mods that you can get... atleast for traxxas, hpi, etc vehicles.

Full Aluminum upgrades probably could run you a little over 2000$US for a Traxxas Revo...

Anyone have a good transmitter/receiver that I should look into? Ive liked the DX3 Spectrum ones... but any others that will work just as well?

I went with the JR XS3 pro when I decided to upgrade my tx/rx. Not too badly priced and works well for me. Mainly I like the fact that I don't have to worry about crystals anymore.

I don't know all the details yet but I have read that Nomadio is coming out with a new model soon. I do know though that they are still running the brown box special for the Nomadio Sensor until the end of the month.

I have a revo 3.3 havent had a chance to run it lately. Too much time working and I got befriended from someone. so lord knows when I will get around too it again
