Also, I am sure this is a plug and play in to a non 6-disk truck, can some one confirm ???

I don't need the sub stuff, So that 3rd plug does not matter....

your converting a basic 03 stock radio to the upgrade stock radio? I thought my 03 single disc was a pioneer and am sure that it didn't play mp3's i'd assume the 6 disc upgraded radio would be roughly the same.

Eddie,

That stinks.... My 04 adren radio does, i guess the normal 6 disk does not then....

Vince,

Yes, i have the single cd/tape radio.... I like the fact we loaded the adren 6 disk radio with all MP3 cd's... Tons of music.......

Ohh well.....

Time to move on...

Thanks

Hap,

I appreciate it but it is not plug and play with the 03........

Thanks any way !!!!

Eddie, I have a 2005 XLT with a single-disc that is MP3 capable. As far as multi-disc, the Adrenalin package may be the only way to get that in a Gen1.

My 04 w/ Audiophile package did not have MP3 capability. I've long since switched that unit with an Adrenalin one.

The 1998 Mountaineer that I used as a swap car had a MP3 capable single cd player... thought that was interesting for 1998.

Keep on trac'n

Found it... Its part of the "Mach" MP3 sound system offered on the mustang and explorers for 1998 to 2001... its also available on one with a tape player with the same "mach" insignia.

Hope that helps.
