Door locks code

I have had trouble finding the factory preset code for my door locks. I found what I am almost sure is the computer module under the wipers in the firewall. I took this module completely out and could find no code written or stamped. The identification sticker for the module are the only things I could find. Any Ideas about where else it might be or have I just overlooked it ? Thanks

I should have mentioned it in my original post but I have also checked behind the glove box. Is it written or stamped of stickered. I am not sure what to be looking for as everything I have seen either have too many digits or has numbers and letters. Thanks !!

If you look at the link above, it is right under the white box that says 5-digit code. You have to remove a small cover behind the glove box to see it. Should just be 5 numbers printed on teh sticker. Mine (2002) looked exactly like the picture in the link.

I have now found my code. I did not open the link until after my last post. Thank you TJR becasue without the pictures I would still be looking up under the glove box. Everything else I found on the web searches kept saying behind the glove box but didn't mention anything about the airbag. Anyway I wanted to say thanks, My Local ford dealers wanted $75 to get the code for me. Thanks!!!

You're welcome mce...good luck. Make sure to reprogram and never give out the factory code. People you trust one day you may not be able to trust a few years down the road, and the factory code will ALWAYS work, even if your add a personal code.
