Door locks with a mind of their own?????

I have an 05 ST to start. Wonder if anyone else had this problem. Some times when I lock my doors...manual, fob or when in drive one of the doors won't lock. its not the same one every time, it happens with all of them but only one at a time. It wouldn't bother me if it was once every two months or so, but it happens every other time or so. it is still under warranty so no big deal there but it's weird. Anyone someone.....yea just me probably.:unsure::huh:

Sounds like the dealer needs to lube all the linkages.

Sounds like the GEM Module and or a BCM (Body Control Module) is either defective or has a poor connection and or ground.



Could also be a bad battery, but not likely as you are having no other issues.

Mine is the passenger side in my 04.... It is the lock actuator....



Also after locking my doors about 10 min later, The truck pleasantly locks them again for me....



LOL... Gotta love electronics..
