Doors won't unlock with the remote

Hi all.

All of a sudden, my remote only unlocks the driver side door, nothing else. One day is was working, the next day it wasn't.

Any idea what would cause this?

I have a 2001 Ford Explorer Sport Trac, 2WD

Ron,

You might want to check the battery in your remote....sounds like the battery may be getting weak?

You also failed to tell us exactly what is not working. Does it not open the drivers side door (or any door) occasionally? Or does it open the drivers door, but occasionally fails to open all the other doors when you press the remotes unlock button a second time (within 5 seconds)? Either can be a battery problem but opening the other doors may be a user error or a programming problem since it is possible to open only the drivers door and not the other doors?

It's not the battery, that's the first thing I replaced when the problem occurred.

The remote opens & locks the drivers door all the time, when pressed the 2nd time, it will not open any other doors. The remote will lock all the doors, but will only unlock the drivers door, even when pressing a 2nd time to open the rest.
