double din cd/tv

i know ive asked this before but , is there a kit or something to put in a double din radio in our sport tracs? Does the hole need to be enlarged or what. i want to get one of these double din radios--

Circuit city site says it wont fit though.

Refer to the single Double-Din one.



It requires a little Dremeling on the radio surround, though. Ford's opening is about 1.8 DINs.

cool. so if i bought that kit, i could put in a double din with some minor trimming of the radio bezel?

Yep. I had a Pioneer FH-P404 Double-Din in my old Explorer. A little trimming and it looked perfect.

Metra's part # 99-5805 will allow you to put a double din radio in or 2 single din radios stacked. Also you will need part # 70-1771 harness as long as you dont have the factory woofer in the vehicle.
