downloading pic's

Trying to upload some pic's to the site...... I go through the process and once uploaded, it cuts halve the pic off. You can see what it is doing in my pic's

Can anyone help with this as I'm not computer savey

Your pics are too big. Use a program to reduce the file size to under 100k each. I think the limit is around 2.1megs for files on this site.

Chris, like already said, downsize the pics. There are free programs out there. What I do is when I take pics that I know I'm going to put onto this site, I just change my setting on the camera to "e-mail size" and then take the pics. Also, if the pics are still on your camera, you may be able to "resize" them on the camera and then put them onto the computer. Just a suggestion.

Microsoft's ImageResizer is an easy way to resize pictures.

search microsoft.com for powertoys xp or imageresizer

it is only 500k in size

install it then you can right click on any .jpg file and a RESIZE option will appear

left click Resize. a menu appears - for this site choose Small.

Choose small then click on ok

a new .jpg of your picture will appear with (small) added to the pic's name

e.g. pic.jpg will be reduced and renamed pic(small).jpg

and a perfect size to display on the web or in an email
