Driver Side Door Lock

Hey gents,

Ok my Driver side door lock seems to be seized. Luck me its stuck unlocked so I can get in and out of the vehicle.



Basically the I am unable to push the Lock down... Its stuck.



How hard is this to fix myself? Has anyone done this before and is there any pictures on what I need to do and replace?

I had the same problem. There was a link mount that broke on the inside, but.. try holding the handle in, and see if the lock works. My problem was that the door handle wouldn't go all the way back into place, and prevented it from locking/unlocking. As long as I held the hand in, the fob locked/unlocked it fine. I eventually got it replaced, since it wasn't a serviceable part.

What do you mean hold the handle in? The Outside Door Handle is all the way in....

I am confused by this...

Sorry, was outta town. The hand appeared to be all the way in, but with the broken part inside, it actually wasn't.. once I held it in, it locked/unlocked fine, until I got it replaced.
