drivetrain resonating?

2007 ST 4x4 v-8...





when driving, accellerating...between 2000-2500 RPM, I get a "droning' that reverberates thru the cab, and you can actually feel it thru the accellerator pedal.



sitting still, and revving the motor in neutral produces no such symtoms...



tranny problems? I've only got 7500 miles on it, and this noise was not noticable when i first got it...

Does it change tone as it increases and decreases RPM's?



Could be a bearing issue or even a drive shaft issue...

It doesn't change in pitch much...and only does it it that 500 rpm range...

I have an 07 v6 4x2 that does something similar.



Taking off from a standstill, when it hits 5 mph it has what feels like a little shake in the rear. Then between 40-45 mph it has a rear end noise like a droan you described. Only that exact speed though. Sitting still reving the engine produces no vibrations whatsoever. I have 1600 miles on mine.
