I drove thru flood last night. above the tires...seems like 3-4 feet.

i'm worried about the engine...i kept the foot on the pedal. any ideas on what needs to be checked?:(

Front and rear diff. fluid should be changed, maybe transfer case fluid. Did it stall or did you go right through it? You may have a diffrent problem if it stalled.

Did you atleast enjoy it? ;)

The manual says that any time to differential(s) is/are submerged the fluid need to be changed. Also, check the gas filter since it sits right under the drivers seat and the oil filter while your at it. I'm sure there's more, but that's all I can think of at the moment. :D

thanks guys for the replies. i didn't stall. just kept my foot on the pedal.

the engine still runs as normal.

i'm worried that water might go tru the k&n filter...is this possible?

that water was almost the height of the fender.

If you got damaging water in your engine, you would have known it. Ask Cooper S owners about a hydrolocked engine.

If any water enters the intake, Normally it stalls the engine...

I hit puddles all the time.... IF you submerged the truck and sat there then there may be issues..

Just check the transmission and all gearboxes for white foam, This indicated water in there...

IF none, Then your ok...
