Gary,

Time to get the street sweepers out and clear all that left-over sand and salt from those "Long-Guy-Lund" side roads.

I'm with you, brother. Winter was too long!

Thanks for the reminder.

Spring FORWARD!

Drove my super duty to my buddy's house today. No one knew his dry well was at capacity and water was back flowing, the driveway was completely flooded underneath. When I got my truck on to the driveway the tires broke right through the asphalt. left a good 5 foot track from both front tires. Clean up time is right. :banghead:

i hope !!!! , last year our fine town of brookhaven didn't have enough funds to street sweep all the roads

as it goes, mine was one of them. i am sure there will be another story this year. i am still waiting since december for 3 street lights to be repaired :fire:

I have an old clock/radio/alarm that even picks up the atomic clock signal but that does not seem to work for DST and it certainly does not recognize the new dates for chaning DST. So I had to change the clock on Sunday, and it will change the time the usual, first Sunday in April and the last Sunday in October. That means I will have to set the correct time again. 4 times a year !!

The worst part is that I don't think this is saving us any energy, and not worth all the trouble !!

Changing the hour for DST is easy. The hard part is changing the clock ahead every night by 1.6 microseconds to account for the earthquake...
