Just curious, did everyone survive? :D I was a little surprised to see that the clock on my PC is showing the correct time. I use XP Pro with SP2 as my OS. I guess the patch was automajicly downloaded.

You got it, blksn8k. Same here, XP...:Dand was surprised to see it took care of itself,,,,,,,the wonder of computers, huh??!

One of my atomic clocks re-set itself and yet another did not.

All of my computers are good to go.

I have some pretty expensive watches, 3 of the 5 did change. But of course the Rolex did not.. LOL (Received it as a gift for a mission I did some years ago).

Had to change the normal things like the microwave and what not.

Looks like I will survive though.

My home computer had the correct time this morning...somewhat of a surprise. Now, tomorrow when I get to the office...that computer has a mind of its own, so no telling what it might say. My cell phone was an hour behind until a call came in.

My xp desktop went by it self, My company laptop went by it self , BUT my Toshiba Laptop needed the update from microsoft...

Go figure..

That did the trick...called Cingular and the rep said to power cycle the phone. It would have been nice for them to indicate that on their website.

My Windows 2000 Server had to be manually set. I am up-to-date with installer updates but it seems Microsoft didn't put out a patch for 2000.

So, rather than mess with it now, then again in 3 weeks, and then again in the fall, I performed "Method 2" in the knowledge article below, from Microsoft, which has you manually updating the TZ DST rules via a nice UI you download, and then reapplying a different TZ for a moment then switching back to make the changes stick (or a reboot would work I suppose).

For anyone using Win2K, check it out (Method 2):
