DTC code PO401 EGR flow insufficient

My check engine light came on, so i took my '01 ST to advance auto where they scanned it . The code was PO401 EGR flow insufficient. Anyone have any ideas except for removing and inspecting the EGR?

I just had the same thing last week, & it was the DPFE sensor.

Common fault. These things were bad almost from the day they were installed at the factory...
