Dual Exhaust

Question. My husband found an awesome deal on Roush dual split outlet rear exit exhaust kit. The problem is that it is for a Ranger. 1998-2005 Ranger



I thought that the 01 ST's were on a Ranger platform. If that is the case then shouldn't the exhaust system work?

Rainbow,

I believe most here felt the kit would not work as a direct bolt on. You may be able to modify it, But more of the front of the ST is ranger and the back is Explorer I believe ( may be wrong).. Best bet would have a shop make you a nice dual exhaust setup...

I believe that the Trac is on a 14" extended Explorer chasis. Although the Ranger was the basis for the Explorer, and the Trac is on a stretched Explorer chasis, I believe that the Trac is now closer to the Explorer than the Ranger. However, since they have a very close herritage, it may fit with only a small amount of modification. Check with a exhaust/muffler shop.

I was wanting the same exhaust on my ST, but i was told it would not work.
