I am new to selling on ebay. I just sold an overhead console for an ST on ebay. Do I ship it right away even though the buyer hasn't paid me yet? Or how should I do that.

You ship it after receipt of payment... and if they pay by check, then I'd wait a reasonable period (10 business days) to ensure it clears.



You really should put the terms of the sale in the ebay ad itself - such as, waiting for a check to clear before shipping.

no you need to wait for payment as soon as it is in your pay pall account or as soon as you receive a check and cash it

His seller has won the item but hasn't paid for it. Don't ship it until you have the funds. And, wait till the check clears if your accepting personal checks.
