Have not posted in a while, but I am still here and wanted to give an up date on my trac.
I bought it used last April with 29,000 miles on the clock. Oh, she is a fully loaded PREM. XLT 2003. I did lotts of reading and internet searching before I bought it. But some of the things made me wonder about the reliability of the sport trac, explorer line of SUV's.
But, I bought one anyway. Yes I am a bit brand loyol, I am working on that three months ago I bought the first chevy I have ever owned. Anyway back to my trac, as soon as I got it. Did the oil change tune up and had the trany serviced, brakes were done right before I bought it.
In the eight months and 10,000 miles she has performed flawlessly, I nolonger worry about reliability issues or it being a used truck when I got it. I am even satisfied with the engine power, no its not fast but it has enough low end torque to step out when it needs too. The only thing I really dislike about it is the weak stock shocks that alow it to sway back and forth going over a bump on an angle. But I will fix that with new shocks soon.
I plan on keeping this truck for awhile, when I replace it down the road instead of with a F150 crew, it maybe with another trac. With the new V8 of course.![Big Grin :D :D](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
