electric fan and a/c condenser

I have a black magic 180 hooked up to my st. everthing runs perfect except that the fan doesnt turn on with the condenser. I have it wired into the black/grey? wire. i havent checked it with a meter but i figured i post on here first. any ideas?

I go out and take some pics of the connections for the way ours is hooked up in a couple of hours. Since we are 3 hrs. behind you.

Most electric cooling fans that switch on with the AC compressor are connected via relay/s. Occasionally you have to add two relays to avoid back currents keeping your AC compressor clutch on all the time. I had that problem with my old Dodge Caravan after replacing their crappy compressor with a much stronger unit.

The correct wire is gray with a white stripe.

Here's a pic of the location of the 30 amp breaker that we (i.e. TRACKett Paul) used instead of the 30 amp fuse. We also used 90 deg. connectors on the control box to give it a nice clean look.

i guess that would explain it. im wired in to the wrong wire thank you for the pics
