Emblem location information

Our ST has a 4.0 V6 engine.

I ordered some FORD V6 emblems yesterday.

I am looking for a reference as to where the ST's with a V8's emblems are, so ours doesn't look out of place.

Any help/information would be appreciated.

I googled "Explorer V8" for images and found a few pictures which show a v6/v8 emblem. The 4th gen Explorers and 2nd gen Sport Tracs are basically the same from the A pillars forward.

That's about the same pic that I had found. I just don't want ours to look "off" when I'm done. Maybe I can find on on a lot, and measure it.

Despite having a V-8, my Gen 2 never had a V-8 emblem.

Hey Richard, do you have the dimensions, from say the door gap forward, and say from a body line down??? Am looking for a center-line to go by?

no, sorry. my '10 did not come with V8 emblems. I actually put mine on the lower fender, just in front of the door. I'd put yours on where you like them. Scotch tape them in different places to see how they look best to you before permanently sticking them on.
