Engine out ..

Ok guys engine & trans out this weekend. New engine mounts in and fitted. Machine shop is going to finish up their part and then I'll get it painted & assembled. During this time I have to finish shaving firewall and inner fenders. Hopefully I will be able to snap some pics through out this for you all.

Cool, are you having to do much fab on the compartment frame to get it to drop in?

Did you weld in supports for the engine mounts?

Will the headers clear without much cutting?

Tunnel big enough for the tranny?

New wiring harness for the new CPU?

Motor mounts I went with were Tubular motor mounts..Hot rod style, they look real clean.

Headers should know soon, may have to go with block huggers will post more later.

Trans tunnell is going to be ok I am going with a C-4 trans.

Wiring is going to be minimal I am going carburated for the clean clean look.

doesnt the 4.0 v6 have the same bellhousing bolt pattern as a V8? i mean weve put in a c4 in a 91 explorer up to a 4.0v6.
