I used to own a 2004 ST. Had a problem that developed around 50,000 miles. Engine surging (idle speed) dropped almost 500 RPM when leaving off the gas at 50-60 MPH. Never did find out what the problem was 'cause I sold it and bought a 2005 with 16,000 miles on it.
Fast forward to 2010.
Now my 2005 has approached the 52,000 mile plateau and low and behold, this issue has reared its ugly head !!
Has anyone had an issue like this ?
:sad:No other symptoms....No check engine lights....Don't know if this is a costly fix. The local FORD dealer closed.
