Thanks, now is there anyway to wire a spare 8" MTX Road thunder into that? I notice that the stock has two Pos and Neg's, so I am assuming its a dual voice coil?
Why am I asking instead of replacing?
Because, I don't want to spend any more than I need. My last trac had an entire system replacement including the amp, 8" sub, custom box and all the wiring installed professionally (way too much freakin money!). When I traded up to the new trac, I removed all that and put it in my garage waiting for the new trac to get here.The garage got broken into and lost the amp and box (including speaker).
so now I have a spare 8" MTX Road Thunder still in the box. instead of spending another 315 bucks for a stock replacement (hate paper cones!) thought I would see if I can swap. Any chance on that?
If not, how difficult is it to replace the stock amp and sub with a new one, I SUCK at wiring!
