Exhaust 2 chamber

Looking at adding exhaust to my truck, I was wondering how loud is a 2 chamber muffler inside the cab is going down the road and at idle w/ gen 1 trac? Ive got a 2004 adrenalin. I was looking at flowmaster 40.I was plaining on a single in and duals out. Thanks for the advice and help.

i had a 40 and it wasnt loud enough for me and now i have a cherrybomb extreme race muffler

The 40 is LOUD..... can be heard starting the truck in the house, driving down the block...



mine is mounted in the proper location, so cruising in the truck is not bad, But if you get on it, IT is loud !!



IF your concerned, i will gladly let you hear on the phone the trucks..

I too, have a Flowmaster 40, single in, single out. I drive in town and highway. Just enough rumble on the start up, but nice on the highway. Always get people asking if I have a v8. (even the Ford mechanics!)

I have a gen 2, so I'm not sure if there would be a big difference between your gen 1 or not.
