I have a 2007 Limited with the 4.6L V8. I'm looking for a loud exhaust tone. One of the options is to remove the muffler and replace with straight pipe. My question is will this reduce the back pressure to a point of loosing power and also will this turn on an engine check light?:blink::unsure:

I recommend Magnaflow. They make a catback system specific to the 07 V8,,,,,,,I and a few others have installed and we all love the muffler.

Check out this link for the magnaflow sound file. Turn your speakers up to get the full effect. It is loud. If you straight pipe, you will lose low end torque.

I got the Magnaflow. Installed it at my brothers house. Made a couple of WOT runs in it right after the install and sacred the neighbors horses so bad they came over a yelled at us. :lol: :lol: :lol:
