Expedition - What extra maintainces to do

Greetings to all of you for the coming Christmas. Many thanks to all of you for replying to the problem we are having with my wife's Expedition. We bought it new in March 1999. At present it has 80,000 miles. This is the first time we had any mechanical problem with this SUV. AT present, my wife is having problem with starting. The SUV is at Ford dealers place.



My wife wants to know what other maintaince works we should do while the SUV is at the dealer. At present it has a new battery and a new fuel pump. My wife did oil and filter change every 3000 miles religiously.

Flush the coolant if you haven't done it in a while. We recently had to have a new heater core put in our 97 Expedition. Very costly because of around 10 hours labor involved.
