Though I live in Massachusetts, you didn't see my 07 Dk Cherry Trac. When it was new, I had the dealer add and install Explorer chrome door badges that were on Explorer SUV's up to the 08 models. I also added bodyside moldings that came primed and had them painted and clearcoated by the dealer and applied to the Trac. The rear door moldings are 3/4 length, but since the color blends, I get the protection I wanted, and the chrome badges I got for 17.50 a piece. I think it looks nice, not tacky. I know others on the board like the cleaner look, so it is a matter of choice and individual taste.
