exporting a car

Anybody ever exported a car from US to Canada ?



What's the procedure ? Cost ? And can you drive it through or it has to be in "custody" for a little while (I'm thinking tag switching and registrations...)?

Never shipped to Canada, but did ship a car from Virginia to Italy. Cost around $900 and once it arrived in country i had to get it plated and insured. They held it until i had those items. Hope that helps.

Yeah, drive it across the Ambassador Bridge from Detroit over to Windsor. ;-)
