extended warranty

I have a 04 ST XLT 4X4 and my 36,000 mile warranty ends in about 2,000 miles. I was trying to get a quote from fords website for an extended warranty and I could not get a price. I tried to enter my VIN number and it was saying it did have any records of the VIN. I was wondering what would be a good price to pay for an extended warranty. I was thinking about either getting a 75,000 or 100,000 mile warranty.
