Has anyone else had their factory pioneer 6cd player give them an error?? I ejected slot number one and the little gate didnt close back, now it wont load play or eject. it just keeps saying "cd error" no matter what you try. Not sure which fuses to pull to reset because my truck didnt come with the manual.

Has anyone else had these troubles and if so how did you fix if you fixed it!?!?!?!?!?!

Thanks for any help guys and gals!!!!

Had this happen in my old Mustang. Chances are your cd jammed when you tried to eject it. If you have any kind of paper labels on the cd it will wrinkle up and jam it. Try taking a credit card and moving the cd a little so it ejects.

Hope this helps.

i dont use burnt cd's so i know that couldnt be it. problem is that the cd ejected no problem, it just hasnt worked since. thats why im curious if reseting it will fix it.

There are two separate fuses for the radio. Both MUST be pulled to get a good reset. Or, as noted above, pull the battery cable.

This radio is common for failure from 01 to early 03 and in some cases later years. But for the most part, it is just the early model radios that were an issue.
