I have an 01' job 1. Anyone know if I can change the single dics to a an OEM 6 disc player? I wondered if the plugs were the same. Thanks.

Yes, any from 01-03 will work..
04 and up require adapters

Not only adapters, I tried to put a hanger from an 06 in my ST and it is a bigger unit.
That is because the 2007 Trac radio's are Double DIN while the 1st gens are Din and a 1/2 or 3/4.

The Wife has a 2005.. I believe thats 1st gen no? But it seems to have a bigger then 1.5DIN in there. I wanted to get a MP3/6CD Changer deck from an 07 Escape or Mariner (they have the same mounting design as the wifes truck).... is there anyway to confirm the fit on this deck?
