Hey guys... I have a 2004 Trac and it has the CD/Tape head unit in it...

I am wondering if its possible to get a new Factory Headunit that plays MP3's also???

Any help would be great.

Cheers

I found a sight that sells factory units that are repaired. They are cheaper than buying a new unit._Ron

I have a stock 2005 cd/mp3 for sale. Only used for 6 mos. Desc. from owners manual is in my library. Make me an offer. I live in St. Catharines.

Can you get me pics of the Radio and also of the back of it??

I actually am in St Catherines atleast once or twice a week... Plus will be in Niagara Falls this coming week-end for baseball...

But the question I guess is will this unit work in my TRAC? and what kind of wiring changes will I have to make from the existing Unit that is there?

Anyone?

Cheers

Whit

I would put my money on a good aftermarket head unit. The oem factory units are crap. Get the proper wiring harness and installation is a snap.

The 2005 late availability OEM mp3 was actually pretty decent. I have no complaints about it. Of course, it's not as good as an aftermarket, but if you don't wanna spend big bucks, it's good enough. I only changed it cuz I wanted a dvd and the stock speakers just had to go. $700 later, I'm a happy camper. It's all relative.
