Will the factory sub and amp work with an aftermarket radio?

Not that I'm aware of. I bet it's possible if you learn the wiring scheme and splice into it but you'd probably be better off with an aftermarket amp and speaker.

The OEM sub does have it,s own power source, box and sub. Soooo, if you get the wire schematics it would work. Most will tell you it is not worth it as the OEM sub is on the low end as far as Sub's go.



For me, it worked just fine, I am not a Sub junkie...

The bass supplied by the sub was sufficient for me in the factory system. I got an aftermarket radio and it was an excuse to play with mdf, build something and get new sub and amp.
