The sub really isnt that powerful.. and then being behind the seat doesnt help. Also i think it might be about dead does anyone know what size it is and if i can replace it with any aftermarket in the same housing?

Scott.. It's not worth it.. I played around with the same idea..You are better off shooting JD Boxes an email.. (He's a site sponsor) He can make something for you for behind the seat. Also there are some for under the rear seat on ebay..

WOULD IT USE THE SAME AMP OR WOULD I HAVE TO USE AN AFTERMARKET?

It would need an aftermarket amp..How much bass are you looking for? I put 1 - 10" under my rear seat and it's perfect for me. Here's a pic. (more in my library)
