OK,

I found a place that will make me a direct bolt on fiberglass hood for the ST !!!!

( I will ask about the rear cab wings too !!)

It is an OEM style and fit......

SOOOOOOOOOOOOO ???? The million dollar question is......

IF you could get ONLY 1 scoop or Cowl style what would it be..... .

IF the pricing is right, I will get 1 and test it out.....

I am sure they will do any scoop or cowl I want, BUT I want to keep it simple and limit it to say 2 styles.....

Also I can guaranty the hoods will be around $300.00 or more with scoops or cowls...

This is a great idea!

Just to be clear...this is what you mean by cowl:

and this is what you mean by scoop:

Right?

Rs,

Yes, could be that, OR just have the scoops I sell now molded in... They said they would look at doing any thing I wanted...

PSY,

You got pics ??

A couple of suggestions, using ones available for the F150 as examples:

Number 1:

Number 2:

Number 3: The '05 ST Adrenalin concept hood. (Edit: I think this is the type of hood to which Psycaryeo is referring. The STA concept hood was modeled after the '03-'04 Terminator Cobra hood.)

I actually have been entertaining the idea of a hood scoop for a while now. I would go with the scoop style....don't care much for how the cowl hoods look on the G1's.

I'd get killed on the shipping though.....

Todd, I thought you didn't sell hood scoops anymore?

And TrainTrac posted every single hood I was going to post...just faster :) I love pic 1 and pic 3.

Not sure which one Ilike best!

thats some exciting stuff Todd!!

I'd love to see the hood modeled after the adrenalin concept like Train Trac posted!! That'd be amazing.

Very sleek and not over the top IMO.

Here are a few other ideas, based on aftermarket Mustang hoods. Perhaps the first two of these could be adapted to work with our cold air intake for a true "ram-air" setup:banana:

Number 4: Mustang concept-style

Number 5: Ram Air type hood

Number 6: '67 Shelby-style hood (This is my favorite for the current Mustang. When I get a S197 Mustang, I'm installing one of these hoods.
