Finally cleaned the IAC. before/after pic

Well I finally cleaned the IAC and adjusted the idle. Cleaner idle and seems to have a better responce. Simple task thanks to the projects.

I assume it had a gasket. Did you have to get a new one and could you just get the gasket by its self?

It is a rubber gasket that is seated. Mine wasn't damaged in any way so I reused it. I'm not sure about buying a gasket by itself but I did price a new IAC at the zone and it was $80.

The gasket is reusable as long as not damaged.

Amazing how much crap gets in there because of the egr setup..

64k. I bought the truck with 52k and I doubt it has ever been cleaned. I'll be checking it more often now because it was an easy project.
