Finally saw the new ST!!!!

This weekend i attended the Greater Los Angeles Auto Show



When i had first seen pics of the new ST, i wasnt too impressed. My dad has an 02 explorer xlt, and when i saw their redo of that i wasnt too impressed either.



Yesterday i was able to look at both of them up close and personal....



I really like the way both of them look. Their interiors look alot nicer, and the body though similar has a completely different look to them. I think ford did a nice job with the ST and the explorer. I can't wait to test drive it with the new V8!!!!

I was able to see it too, on Friday. It didn't have the power rear window, but the rear window itself did look slick being a single piece and all. Overall, it looked pretty good in person. I sat in the 06 Explorers and the interiors looked nice. The new door panels look great but I'm not sure about the ergonomics of the grab handles below the armrest. Love the floor shifter too. It looks bigger on the outside, but inside it didn't seem much roomier than our STs. I still love my 04.

According to the Ford reps. in Dallas the roll-down rear window won't come out until job 2, which means we won't see it until around Sept./Oct. since the '07 ST isn't rolling out until March/April.
