Finewire Plug Gap Not Important?

The gapping distance is valid ONLY for flat electrodes like the dual platinum ones. It makes absolutely no importance for a fine tip electrode... They will fire even over a 1/2" gap.

Any truth to this? Explanation or any input appreciated. (Post #30)

Thats a load of crap.



Air is an insulator.



Electricity won't go to the ground strap if the gap is too large, resulting in a mis-fire.
