Fixed the thermostat housing...now

Well...great news...got the t-stat housing replaced and no more leaking. Thanks to everyone that heard out on here. Now it seem to gave another problem. It is taking a little while to warm up and when it does get to normal...it slowly creeps red and then back to normal....then near red and back....over and over. Could I just have air still in the system? Thanks Shannon

probably air... run it at highway speeds for a while... it should de-gas itself... check coolant level...

That is what I am hoping. It doesn't do it at idle just at hwy speeds.

Air, or bad or stuck T-stat.... DID you replace the sending units too?

New thermostat and o-ring. I didn't replace the senders this time. I did replace them a few years back though

Did you reinstall the upper radiator hose BEHIND the oil fill neck?

Sounds like you have a restriction, or a bad thermostat. Radiator cap?
